“Impact Challenge” Project with Harvard Students

On May 19, the first day of the Harvard Youth Leadership Summit under the slogan “From Dream to Opportunity: Harvard in Samarkand!” took place in Samarkand at the Silk Road International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage.

As part of the summit, lively discussions and exchanges of ideas were organized in the university’s main activity hall among university students, Presidential School pupils, other talented young people, and students from Harvard University.

The main discussion topics included:

• Sustainable Economy

• The Impact of Social Media on Young People’s Lives

Within the framework of the “Impact Challenge” project, participants worked together in teams to develop innovative solutions to real-world problems. They also took part in interactive discussions and Harvard-style seminars aimed at strengthening leadership, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.

Most importantly, young participants gained invaluable experience through direct communication and idea exchange with Harvard students, learning how to transform their dreams into real opportunities.
