Associate Professor of our university, acting Muslima Amiriddinova, successfully participated in the GLOBAL FOOD SUMMIT held in India

The prestigious GLOBAL FOOD SUMMIT international conference held in New Delhi, India, on September 25-27, 2025, was attended by the acting associate professor of the Department of Tourism of our university, Muslima Amiriddinova, and delivered a report on the topic “The Value of Food in Uzbekistan”.

Leading experts from different countries of the world participated in this summit and delivered topical reports on food safety, global food policy, standardization and its economic and social significance. In particular, the following influential experts expressed their opinions:

At the conference, the acting associate professor Muslima Amiriddinova provided detailed information about national dishes, the historical and cultural value of food products in Uzbekistan, as well as the development of restaurants and gastronomic destinations in connection with the tourism industry. In particular, she noted that gastronomic tourism has become one of the global trends today, and Uzbekistan has great potential in this regard.

Muslima Amiriddinova, who also actively participated in the ITEC (Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation) program held within the framework of the summit, had the opportunity to exchange experiences with other participants and strengthen international cooperation.
