Development of smart tourist destinations: innovations in smart tourism and digital integration
On December 16, 2025, a scientific and practical conference was held at the Silk Road International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage as part of the I-Student Forum. This conference was dedicated to innovative approaches in the field of modern tourism, the introduction of digital technologies, and the development of the concept of smart tourism.
The 3rd area of the conference was organized on the topic “Development of smart tourist destinations: innovations in smart tourism and digital integration”. A total of 90 scientific articles were submitted within the framework of this area across the master's and bachelor's degree programs. The presented works were distinguished by modern scientific approaches, innovative ideas, and practical proposals.
These scientific articles were thoroughly analyzed by experienced and leading professors and teachers of the department based on predetermined scientific criteria. During the expert evaluation process, special attention was paid to the relevance, scientific novelty, practical significance, and thoroughness of the content of the articles.
