Our university team won first place in the competition on the topic of "Development of Tourism"

As part of the festival under the slogan "Let's unite, young people of New Uzbekistan!" held on June 23 of this year, a competition on the topic "Development of Tourism" was organized among teams of higher educational institutions in our region. The goal of the competition, held at the Tourism Technical School under the Silk Road University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage, is to make Samarkand the gateway to tourism for the new Uzbekistan and to identify potential specialists who can consistently provide exemplary service to guests.

The participants of the competition competed in four areas: tourism startup projects, cooking, waiter service, and guide service. Qualified experts evaluated the work of the participants of the competition according to the conditions. According to the overall result, the team with the highest score was declared the winner of the competition.

1st place: Silk Road International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage

2nd place: Samarkand Institute of Economics and Service

3rd place: University of Veterinary Medicine, Animal Husbandry and Biotechnology

The winners were awarded certificates and souvenirs on behalf of the regional governor.
