UI GreenMetric 2025: “Silk Road” University Ranked Globally

On December 5, 2025, in the Republic of Taiwan, the official results of one of the world’s most prestigious “green university” rankings — UI GreenMetric 2025 — were announced.

This year, 1,745 universities from 105 countries were evaluated. Higher education institutions of Uzbekistan also actively participated and achieved достойные результаты.

Notably, the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage was included in the UI GreenMetric 2025 ranking and secured 1013th place globally. This achievement reflects the university’s consistent efforts in ensuring environmental sustainability, efficient use of resources, implementation of “green campus” principles, and environmental protection initiatives.
