OUR UNIVERSITY TEAM ACTIVELY PARTICIPATED IN THE NATIONAL HOLIDAY OF NOWRÜZ

Today, March 21, in the Central Park of Samarkand, professors, teachers, employees and students of the Silk Road International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage actively participated in the Navruz national holiday, which was held under the slogan “Glorifying Navruz is glorifying humanity!” A special festive atmosphere was created in the area reserved for our university. Professors, teachers and students dressed in national costumes decorated the festive table in a spring mood and presented our national dishes. During the festive events, Uzbek national songs were performed by foreign and local students of our university. Turkish, Azerbaijani and Indian national dances were also performed with great skill. During the celebration, the regional governor Adiz Boboyev got acquainted with the performances prepared by our university team and recognized the high level of organization and creative approach. We sincerely congratulate the team of our university on today's Navruz!

Associate Professor of our university, acting Muslima Amiriddinova, successfully participated in the GLOBAL FOOD SUMMIT held in India

The prestigious GLOBAL FOOD SUMMIT international conference held in New Delhi, India, on September 25-27, 2025, was attended by the acting associate professor of the Department of Tourism of our university, Muslima Amiriddinova, and delivered a report on the topic “The Value of Food in Uzbekistan”. Leading experts from different countries of the world participated in this summit and delivered topical reports on food safety, global food policy, standardization and its economic and social significance. In particular, the following influential experts expressed their opinions: At the conference, the acting associate professor Muslima Amiriddinova provided detailed information about national dishes, the historical and cultural value of food products in Uzbekistan, as well as the development of restaurants and gastronomic destinations in connection with the tourism industry. In particular, she noted that gastronomic tourism has become one of the global trends today, and Uzbekistan has great potential in this regard. Muslima Amiriddinova, who also actively participated in the ITEC (Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation) program held within the framework of the summit, had the opportunity to exchange experiences with other participants and strengthen international cooperation.

Our university team won first place in the competition on the topic of "Development of Tourism"

As part of the festival under the slogan "Let's unite, young people of New Uzbekistan!" held on June 23 of this year, a competition on the topic "Development of Tourism" was organized among teams of higher educational institutions in our region. The goal of the competition, held at the Tourism Technical School under the Silk Road University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage, is to make Samarkand the gateway to tourism for the new Uzbekistan and to identify potential specialists who can consistently provide exemplary service to guests. The participants of the competition competed in four areas: tourism startup projects, cooking, waiter service, and guide service. Qualified experts evaluated the work of the participants of the competition according to the conditions. According to the overall result, the team with the highest score was declared the winner of the competition. 1st place: Silk Road International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage 2nd place: Samarkand Institute of Economics and Service 3rd place: University of Veterinary Medicine, Animal Husbandry and Biotechnology The winners were awarded certificates and souvenirs on behalf of the regional governor.

"Cultural Encounters" Event at Qingdao University

As part of the student exchange program, students of the Silk Road International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage, studying at Qingdao University, one of the prestigious higher educational institutions of the People's Republic of China, took part in a major cultural event called "Cultural Encounters". ➡️ This event was held in an atmosphere of friendship, mutual respect and cultural diversity, where students from different countries demonstrated their national cultural heritage, traditions, art and talents. Students of our university also presented our rich cultural heritage to the general public through Uzbek national costumes, dances, songs and national dishes. This event, organized by Qingdao University, played an important role in strengthening cultural ties between peoples, further strengthening friendship between students and developing international cooperation.

HAPPY NOWROZI WORLD!

These days, the splendor of Navruz, one of the national holidays of our people, is spreading in our country. This holiday, which marks the arrival of spring and embodies the traditions of our people, was widely celebrated in the central park of Samarkand. All preparations were made in the area allocated to our university in the central park, and under the leadership of our university leadership, a table was decorated and various national dishes were served. At the beginning of the holiday, the First Vice-Rector of our university, Professor Dilmurod Nasimov, took the floor and sincerely congratulated everyone on this national holiday and expressed his sincere wishes.
