Student Ulugbek Toirov secured 3rd place in wrestling at the regional championship held within the Student League.
Young people actively participated in the ECO-GENERATION 2026 VOLUNTEERS training camp. Among them, the presence of Sevara Khudoyberdiyeva, a 1st year student of the "Silk Road" International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage, and Iroda Yakupbayeva, a 3rd year student, is a sign that the ranks of our proud youth are expanding. The first deputy director of the National Agency for Social Protection, Shahnoza Shavkatovna, the first deputy director of the Youth Affairs Agency, Dilnozakhon Kattakhonova, and the coordinator of the UN Volunteers program in Uzbekistan, Mirsaid Uzakov, spoke before the youth. During the training, the development of volunteering in the field of social protection, as well as opportunities for volunteering abroad, were discussed, film, musical performances and demonstrations were organized. Open dialogue allowed the participants to get answers to their questions and gain a broader idea of new opportunities.
On April 9, 2026, a seminar was organized on the topic “Opportunities for students through the Hackonnect and Techstars ecosystem” in cooperation with the Department of Scientific Research and Youth Work, Spirituality and Education. At the event, a representative of TechStars, an international startup expert, Madina Zakirova, and her team provided information to university students about turning startup ideas into projects. A question-and-answer session was organized between students and guests.
As part of the visit of the Kazakh parliamentary delegation to Uzbekistan, the second forum of Uzbek-Kazakh scientific and creative intellectuals was held at the "Silk Road" International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage in Samarkand on the theme "From a Common Past - Towards a Common Future."

Another historic event has taken place in the higher education system of Uzbekistan. The TOP-20 list of universities with the highest passing scores among all universities in our country has been published. It is our achievement that the Silk Road International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage is included in this prestigious list.
On April 9, students of the Silk Road International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage organized a spiritual and educational event entitled "Great History, Great Figure" dedicated to the 690th anniversary of the birth of the great commander and statesman Amir Temur. Students of the Log-125 group participated in the event, organized by the university tutor Sh. Zayniddinova, and presented interesting information about the life of Amir Temur, his role in building a great empire, and state governance based on justice and order. The image of Amir Temur was brought to life through stage performances.
On March 31, 2026, at the regional stage of the traditional “Chinese Bridge” competition held among students of higher educational institutions, talented students of our university’s TTCh-224 group—Firuza Abdieva and Leyla Nugmanova—participated with distinction and won an honorable 3rd place. This high result is a clear reflection of their continuous efforts and dedicated hard work in learning the Chinese language. Congratulations, dear students!
A Jakarta–Samarkand business forum was held in Jakarta with the participation of the Samarkand regional delegation. The event was aimed at developing cooperation between the two regions in trade-economic, investment, and tourism sectors. Representatives of the “Silk Road”International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage actively participated in the forum. They put forward initiatives to strengthen the integration of international education and tourism.
During this seminar-training, issues of developing pilgrimage tourism, in particular, modern approaches to providing quality services to tourists from Malaysia and Indonesia, were discussed. Practical recommendations were also given on the processes of providing services to foreign tourists at the Imam al-Bukhari memorial complex, as well as on developing effective and meaningful tourist routes for them.
A badminton competition among leading Samarkand universities was held at the university as part of the Student League.
